Hi, I’m Teresa Wright.
And this isn’t just a business—it’s a reflection of something I have always loved. Building and feeding a community through baking.
Bakery on the Wright is a tiny, home-based micro bakery in Chicago, Illinois. It was created from a love of simple quality ingredients, slow-fermented dough, and the joy of feeding a local community.
It is a place people turn to for fresh sourdough, small-batch cookies, and a warm, personal touch you just don’t find in stores.
Everything is baked in small batches, with Sunday pre-orders opening only when inspiration, season, and schedule align. Pickups happen on Fridays, and the menu stays intentionally simple, consistent, and handmade using high-quality ingredients.
There’s no storefront and no production line. Just a home kitchen, a passion for baking, and a community that continues to make this little bakery feel special.
Whether you’ve picked up a loaf before or you’re just discovering Bakery on the Wright, thank you for supporting small-batch, handmade baking here in Chicago.
